As far as I know, you can re-install office without difficulty. However, be sure you have the key available, because you'll need to supply it. You'll lose your personal settings such as toolbar selection and location.

While you're at it, consider doing a custom installation instead of using Office defaults. Some neat features are available, and some annoying ones can be left behind.

I have never done an Office re-installation, although I've done a few to a fresh Windows installation, and I've altered my Office configuration a few times; hence, I'm a bit green in this area.

Be sure to save your personal data first.

Cheers, PW.
