09:31 01-MAR-2001 C.P. Pokphand (0043-HK) completes US$600m debt restructuring C. P. Pokphand Company Ltd has completed restructuring 60 pct of its total liabilities totalling US$600 million after negotiations which lasted 18 months. Trading in the company shares will resume this morning. The company has reached an agreement with a bank whereby it will repay debts of less than US$410 million by the end of 2002 and the remainder of US$100 million by way of re-financiing.
