you can eliminate agilent; as they specified that they were on the telecom side and not the test side. i think you're right; though i would imagine GLW was/is part of the problem also. NUFO has a $1.3b market cap at $17- about 7 1/2 times 2001 sales based on mid point of guidance. the november low was 16. given that and the cash position of roughly $5 per share...... i'm hoping for a double bottom here. i sold 35% of my position at $49 the before the Q4 earnings release (shoulda, woulda, coulda sold it all...). i have been looking to add back; but feared a warning. the warning is worse than i thought it would be; but it should serve to mark a bottom if (BIG if) the US economy actually comes back towards the end of 2001. if not.. all bets are off.

given teh guidance gaff of $240mm, i would imagine that the new guidance is conservative and factors in all but a worst case scenario (which, could happen, of course). anyway... looks like a pretty good entry point down here in the mid teens for a long term buy and hold. of course, if the comp washes out to 1,800.. we could take out 16 and spike to 12. what to do, what to do.........
