As was the case with their quarterly CC, I encourage everyone to listen to the call today: corporate-ir.net Evidently two major telecom customers pushed out orders rather suddenly due to an "inventory adjustment"... The question is..Which two? According to the company, Corvis, Agilent and Corning are the three >10% customers for the last quarter and it appears NT and ALA are the two unnamed customers slightly below 10% (but I am not entirely sure of that...I've got to do some more homework on this..)...The impression I got from the call was that it was really due to two customers and not that everything was being pulled. Without proof that one of the companies is or is not Ciena, it is hard to make any specific statements about the ramifications of this news on Ciena. (Other than generic industry ramifications.) I hope to have an update in the morning. Regards.
