The way JNPR market share was calculated has several flaws.
The major one being that they compared GSR12000 installation against the entire JNPR M-series. They did not include Cisco's 7500's or 7200's which are still being used in lot
of places in the internet.

Also, Cisco just announced the 124xx series, looking at the
architecture of M-160 vs the 124xxx, I see lot of issues in JNPR router, namely: scalability, lack off OIR and being NOT
able to do line rate with a fully loaded M-160 box. Also out of sequence packet within the router makes it impossible to
carry voice or video traffic.

In summary, I doubt JNPR can stay much longer if they continue to sell this architecture...

ps: heard lot of engineers are leaving JNPR to other startups.
