Yes, the only solution is eternal life. What that would be like precisely, I cannot say. I am merely laying bare alternatives, as I see them. There is room for doubt, and therefore disquietude.

As for removing the capacity for doubt, well, some speculate that we will be given a comprehension of the whole, and therefore have our questions addressed. I am not so sure that is true, although I do not rule it out. Sometimes I think that we will merely see God as He is, in such a way that we know we can trust Him, once and for all. We will not need an explanation in detail because we will be sure that He has accounted for and disposed of everything as it should be.
