Right on. Kids are strange. When I was a kid I lived in a poor neighborhood, but didn't know I was poor. My families situation changed and we were able to move to a better neighborhood and I found tremendous peer pressure to wear certain clothes, etc.

I was asked to join a fraternity on condition that I changed the way I dressed. Very strange, I thought. My daughter went to high school in one of the best neighborhoods in my state. At one of the highest rated public schools. The pressure to conform was enormous. I couldn't believe it. There is much to be said for school uniforms.
