Ted,

Xilinx and Altera are probably the among the best of the chipstocks going forward.

They are just being more "honest" than most regarding inventory.

Being fabless they have 12 weeks in fab/pkg/test inventory.
And 12 weeks inhouse and another 12 weeks at distribution.

I think folks have been seriously overestimating PC demand, mobile demand and broadband demand.

All 3 area's are in trouble IMHO.

And these have been driving the growth for past few years.

Brutal times ahead.
