Ten,
you'd prefer a society that bans guns, TV, meat, and any act that adds even a pint of greenhouse gases into our environment
You are truly a digital thinker. Everything is one extreme or the other.
I'm somewhat surprised about that because Asian cultures generally have a good understanding of the need to balance the opposing forces in life. Maybe Korea is different.
Of course, that all depends on what your definition of "obvious" is. Ever see The Matrix?
I don't watch TV, and rarely see movies. Children in the US grow up watching tens of thousands of murders, and then we act surprised that some act out what they were raised on.
It is obvious that we are what we eat. My children don't corrupt their minds watching television, and as a result they excel at every other aspect of life. They eat little meat, and spend their time playing sports, learning art and science, building things, learning the computer, performing, and all the classic skills in life.
My 6 year old just won a role in a play over the weekend, in which he is the youngest performer by a factor of two.
It is obvious that their accomplishments stem from their lifestyle.
The bottom line is that in America most are too lazy to raise children properly. Forget the Bush moralizations. Talking morality to a kid who just watched three hours of television, and ate a hamburger from a tortured cow is a waste of time.
