Hey Gottfried, I apologize to you for the tone of my last post to Cary. I should know better but I guess I can't resist a fight. Anyway the Doug Kass piece confirms for me that we are reaching a bottom. I was able to add some EMC yesterday. I know this will sound crazy but I do expect nasdaq 3000 sometime in 2001 and thats a 50% move from these levels and if I outperform the averages in my big cap portfolio I believe I will be a happy investor again. Forget Amat for a minute--think of these potential 50% gainers--cisco at 33, sun at 30, emc at 60, jdsu at 44. See what i am getting at--50% moves take them back only to what they were in January. I enjoy your posts here and I would be interested in any OT comments you would care to make about growing up in EG if you are comfortable with that. Mike
