Portal Software and Nokia Networks Announce OEM Agreement on Rating Systems to Support WAP, GPRS, and 3G-Based New Services

Portal Software, Inc. (Nasdaq:PRSF - news), a leading provider of business

infrastructure software for next-generation communications services, and Nokia Networks, the infrastructure arm of Nokia, today announced an OEM agreement on rating systems to support WAP, GPRS, and 3G-based new services.

Nokia Networks has selected Portal's Infranet® platform to be an integral component of the Nokia Charging Center (NCC), a rating and service management solution for GPRS, WAP, and UMTS mobile services. The joint solution relies on the Nokia Charging Center integrated with 'off-the-shelf' Portal Infranet® for flexible multi-service charging for GPRS and WAP.
