This has been exactly my point for some time now. When I need additional storage, the option of buying external hard drives has become more and more attractive. One can pick up a 2.1 Gig external drive for about $400. And connected to my Mac, have the data instantly available thru SCSI chain. No hunting for the right cartridge, and no worries that the drive will be fast enough to handle the application, audio, or video files. When that drive fills up just buy an additional 4 Gig drive, beacause by that time, IT will be about $400. Add it to the SCSI chain...etc. etc. etc.

(well, of course, up to 5 devices in addition to the internal hard drive, and computer itself without having to add a SCSI card.)

There are plenty of people just like me with no need for Zip or Jaz. Thank you very much.
