The X-box is little more than a souped up PC. Until x-boxes are delivered in quantity, it's nothing but hype. 3DO can convert its PC games to X-box any time it likes.

I don't share your pessimism about the PSX2. Frustrated desire usually leads to greater demand. I won't worry about PSX2 until I see them gathering dust on the shelves. Where I live, they are still trying to fill pre-orders.

The fact that PSX2 is backward compatible with PSX1 means that millions of gamers already own games that will play on the PSX2. It is software that sells game boxes. Any way you look at it, PSX2 will have both the highest quantity and the highest quality games.
