New topic: Is Corvis for real? Or are they nothing but hype? They released new products this year and are said to be the frontrunner toward delivering all-optical switches for all-optical routers. . . something the industry will trip over themselves to buy. . . Is this just another part of the hype that gave them a $31 billion dollar market cap their first week of trading? And is it headed for the pink sheets, so that the investment bankers that turned short over $100 per share can cover under a buck? Or can they really compete and profit in the competitive fibre-optic industry? And has the stock been slammed to the single-digits [with a new market cap of $2.7 Billion, less than a tenth of the mkt cap at its IPO] to create new opportunities, once the investment banks start up HYPE machine up again and tell everyone how important their products are and how they will bring video-on-demand into every home?
