Joe you're spending a lot of time on this. The way you use
the Bold on and off like you do! :o)

You said "The OTCBB also is not as liquid as the other exchanges. . . You might not be able to buy/sell when you really want in real life."

Well Joe, this is Not real life, this is a "simple"
stock picking contest.

And besides, there's many otc:bb stocks that are very liquid.
Just as there are NASDAQ & DOW stocks that rarely trade.
(general "rules" aside)

In the contest It wouldn't matter to me if they use opening/closing
price or opening bid/closing bid or whatever. Historical
info is more available on the last trade price verses bid/ask
price. Someone wanted to keep it simple and that's simple, no? :o)

Yahoo had (may still have) stock picking contests where you
can actually make trades during the contest period. That's
a little more complicated. I'd bet SI wouldn't want to
take care of something like that.

Since you brought it up......where's the contest results
anyway???

Happy Investing!
