da_cheif,

>>chif...wats ur definition of strength.... <<

Pitchforks and the way I use them give Price and Time entries/exits, which are highly accurate.

They also give Time/Price forward projections.
But measuring the strength of a move and it's speed is hard for me to determine. Don't have a very good measure for it.

Don't like MACD, Stochastic, Williams R or other methods of using old data. Fun to watch, but Mostly Junk...!
I don't count waves.

Do use RSI and OBV deviations...and OBVolume.
Experimenting now with the Fib Spiral applications.

Finbonacci relationships using 1.618 are valuable.
Like: coil origin high Oct(10995) less Nov low(10292) x 1.618= 1137 +(10995)= 12,132 as a target.

Finally, I use a 25day Summation of the Advancing and Declining NYSE issues to give a broad measure of the flow of this market and the OB/OS conditions. Currently set for a trend change within next 6 days.

But none are "Realy" measures of strength.

So the closest Fork projects to 11,000 by Mar 12-13

Does this make sense, What do you use...?
