PALM's 50% market Domination will be worth more than QCOM's blunder in Asia, especially China. Those that do not learn from history are bound to repeat its mistakes, and QCOM CDMA technology will not be an asset but a liability as its contracts get stuck in a protracted land war in Asia for market share, this is the same mistake that Napoleon made, Hitler, even the British and French and Japanese as they all tried to conquer not just militarily, but with it, supply and communications, the markets in China. This is the chief historical mistake empires make, and QCOM like them is making the same mistake. Rice paddy peasants and 12 cent and hour WTO trade slaves in communist "union" factories may compete with our factory workers in producing "commodity" goods, but as consumers they will have little buying power, and that market is not worth much, its infrastructure costs will outweigh any long term earnings there. PALM on the other hand, in the recent DoCoMo deal just captured with the stroke of a pen, 50% of the Japanese market for hand helds. I am going where the money is. Not where the money was. I am now only long on PALM.
I am,
Truly your$,
