In a bull situation the market tends to be down early and finish strong by week's end. And the opposite is the case in a bear market.

While true nothing is 100%. One sign of a trend change would be for the market to continue to go up for the remainder of this week - i.e. both the amateurs (first of the week) and the pros (last of the week) are supporting a bullish move.

Again JMO and we'll see.
