hi mag some quick replies.... it is not normal to have to make 3-4 attempts to image a drive. for whatever reason, driveimage does not recognize my iomega jaz drive either. for a while there, i was intent on figuring that one out, then i lost my motivation for it. i suppose the fact that i place my images on a second physical hard drive was reason enough to shine on the jaz drive non-recognition prob. i always run di with no compression on. i also run di3.0 have you viewed any of the faq's and knowledge base articles at the powerquest tech support site? :) mark
