Well Hal if they do not sell the data systems soon then they have an even bigger problem.First off why would any potential customer buy an Ampex tape system when they have no idea who will be servicing and upgrading in the future. So Ampex's pitiful sales will dwindle even furthur thus making the unit even harder to sell.

Plus the way Ampex just pulled the plug on their micronet customers must make any potential customer very leary of doing any business with Ampex.
