BTW, the incident involving our sub and the japanese tourist boat was indeed a tragedy and we should apologize. But isn't it ironic that the japanese have yet to apologize to us for Pearl Harbor?

Lets see, you want to kill somebody, you bomb their harbor, sink their ships and later lose the war and then you apologize? It seems to me the unconditional surrender took care of that. Perhaps since I was not alive back then I don't see it the same way?

Hardly the same as making a mistake in judgement and killing some of your friends in a fishing boat with one of your warships playing Tom Clancy. THAT deserves an apology.
