I saw a study recently that suggested the opposite is true. That many teens think they ar fear more likely to die
then soon then the actual statistics on teen death would indicate. If they think they are going to die young
anyway they may take more risks.

If you remember the link, let me know what it is...I would like to see it. It runs in the face of the conclusions of past studies unless this study was done in the inner city. The reality for inner city kids is quite different than that for the rest...they are faced with violence on a daily basis and many do not live to adulthood.
