"Anyone seen this aberrant behavior before?" yes. sarkie's profile used to cause browser crashes for me (netscape) and once or twice (because i'm a glutton for punishment, i suppose...) it also caused blue screens. the prob definitely is on your friend's side of things as opposed to yours [edit in: regarding friend's os and browser..."Win 95\|IE4.0" ..... wow, little computer on the prairie] :) mark
