Has anyone else noticed that everytime Bush gets up and speaks, he trashes the economy - says we're headed for a recession - the economy is sinking - and then launches into his tax agenda citing the economy as the reason? How can we recover when the president keeps talking the economy down? Maybe we are headed for a recession but does it help for the president to keep hammering on it just to get his tax cut?
