Just a suggestion....might want to play with shorting and going long at key support levels until you can get a high percentage of them on the winner side before going into options. Options have awesome leverage, but they're risky and their life is limited. I only play them when I am pretty near 100% sure I can get in the plus with them. My "crash" Puts are now free because of profits I took when I saw 1215 wasn't going to break easily.

The key ingrediant to being successfull is admitting your position is wrong when needed and bailing. If those support/resistance lines hold fast, take it for what it's worth...there's always another trade. I still expect the market to break those suport lines, but with options I am working against time. I will take profits whenever I can.

One last note...I only put between 1- 5% of my total capital into any one option play, while for stocks I may put as much as 20-30%.
