Steve do you think gun control will make those 300,000,000 guns disapear, or make criminals no longer desire guns?

I'm dissapointed. Did I EVER say legislation will help? Upon reviewing my posts, I believe the answer to that question is no, I didn't.

The seed for the popularity of guns in the US was planted a long time ago. And the only way to stop it is for people to get rid of their firearms. And am I advocating this? Again, No. Not my place to say. I'm not an American citizen, and therefore it is none of my business if every American has a gun, or if no Americans have guns. You can't bring them across the border to Canada, so I really don't care ;)

I was merely pointing out that guns beget guns, the same as any other weapon/technology.
