Guns are used to defend as well as to aggressively attack and murder. Also there have been a lot of guns in the
US for a long time but murder rates were much lower in the past. I think the problem is more a lack of concern
for human life and with the consequences of taking it then it is the number of guns. What can be done about this
lack of concern is a good question that I wish I had a good answer to.
