Cosmicforce, the fact that the defintion

2 a (1) : the fact or condition of knowing something with familiarity gained
through experience or association (2) : acquaintance with or understanding
of a science, art, or technique b (1) : the fact or condition of being aware of
something (2) : the range of one's information or understanding

contains the word information does not in my opinion support you case. Its in the middle of a definition about
understanding something which corn does not do, and it say's the range of one's information. "One's" in this case
seems to clearly apply to a person, and the sub definition would call the information itself intelligence, but that
would not make the corn intelligent.

We can continue to play word games or we can look at the fact that there is a serious difference in nature between a human and a stalk oc corn, or we can just agree to disagree.
