You frequently speak in absolutes and I rarely do. It may have to do with our fundamental metaphysics, or it may not. I would consider it a successful dialog if you could refrain from absolutes for a moment and consider my position logically.

You hit a rock with a hammer, you get an electrical impulse much like that from hitting you with a hammer. Fact.

There is not one genetic sequence that is unique to humans and humans alone. Fact.

Drosophila, the common fruit fly, has 60% of its genes in common with ours. Fact.

Chimps have 99.6% of their genetic code in common with us. Fact.

There is not one structure in people that doesn't exist in another animal. Fact.
