Nope.

Matter of fact, while reading that I can restart using the Norton Rescue disks I looked for my bookmark in the book.

I knew it, it was marked at the page just before the instructions on making rescue disks.

The Windows 2000 recovery console disks? No to that either. Never knew to. Had them for my older 98 and 95 machines so no excuse why I did not do it. Been used to my son doing that for me. He has been busy this past year and probably never thought to.

Anyway, Win2000 Pro is supposed to be so stable that this stuff does not happen.

Nah, I thought I could make myself smile but it won't work. The irony is that I'm typing this on an old Macintosh. They never failed me at least.

Anyway, in 15 more minutes I shall have been at this for three hours. DELL has had me on hold for 20 of those minutes.

Wait, they are back......

Get back in a few, I hope
