***OT: Thank You Puna, KLP, Carolyn, and Peach!
Heck, I was hoping to keep it a secret this year. :) When my dog started telling me how many dog years I was today, I told him to quit the d*mn counting, when he got well over 300 years. I prefer to count my age in "scores," as old Abe Lincoln liked to use. I'm still a long way from "forescore...," or even threescore for that matter...well maybe not that far. <g>
And KLP, thanks for the history. THAT "Roger Sherman" was in fact by Great-Great-Great-Great-Great Grandfather's brother's son...and my namesake. So his Grandfather was my G-G-G-G-G-Great Grandfather. I do feel pretty "great" about that. :) In fact, another of our "founding fathers," good-old Benjamin Franklin, credited him with the idea of having a Congress consisting of both a Senate and and House of Representatives, while they debated the creation of our U.S. Constitution. Cool, huh? He also created the very first draft of the "Bill of Rights." One or which, as we all well know on this thread (especially today, huh? <g>), is "Freedom of Speech." We will defend to the death, your right to be completely wrong.
