By the way I wondered at the time if there was a link to the older monitors but I have no proof.

However, I had eye surgery one year ago. My eyes were fine for awhile but rapidly dropped off to the point where I wear glasses for certain things again. The eye surgery was laser surgery to correct vision to 20/20.

For all I know, it had nothing to do with the monitors but at the time I was very suspicious.

Forgot to mention that previously. I do have to return to the Opthamologist soon to see what he is able to do, now that it appears the degradation has halted.
