I am not familiar with the Ruana knife, always had Buck. Will have to look them up. One of her sixth graders threatened to kill her It just wouldn't have happened 20 years ago. Nobody would consider saying anything like that much less actually acting on it. Sad commentary on what we have become. We had a male history teacher that was new when I was in high school. Very feminine type guy that no one really liked. One day in class the local yahoo was making noise and Mr. Williams told him to be quite. They argued and Mr. W grabbed him by the shirt to take him to the office. Vince gave Mr. W a shove and he tripped over a desk. It took the Principle and 2 male teachers to save Vince from the ass whooping he was receiving by 3 football players in the classroom. They didn't even like Mr. W but were not going to stand by and watch that kind of crap. I dare say that scenario would not play out the same today.
