You may get some flak, but I agree with you....I think Maria is a big waste of air time, but I normally get a fair amount of housework done when she's on the air, so I really shouldn't complain. But when I do happen to catch Maria or a commercial for "Maria's" show, I notice that the emphasis is not on the market or news, but on Maria (Maria's scoops, Maria's interviews, Maria's sources.....pictures of Maria's face, Maria's eyes, Maria's profile), so I realize that Maria is not being marketed towards someone like me (ie, someone who is not totally mesmerized by Maria).
I enjoy Liz Claman as well...I didn't like her much when she first came on CNBC, but since she started hosting the early morning show with Bob Sellers, I have liked her much more....she and Bob Sellers make a great team and make waking up a tad bit easier. |
