There are a lot of assumptions there. I'm not so sure Sprint builds out its network just to stay ahead of one competitor these days. Also that assumes CIEN relies so much on Sprint that other customer network builds and new customers will not take up the slack created by this suggested Sprint slowdown. (Sprint is still a >10% customer but the days of it being the sole customer or a >40% are long gone, although I am not sure what the exact % is today as that exact number is not given out and changes each quarter...) Finally the reason CIEN is doing well is far more complex than just that it is selling to Sprint.
