. . . . . .Terrific comments on Corvis, all. . . . . .

I think we covered about every pertinent topic. The consensus seems to be bullish. However, everyone cites one risk or another. . . mostly due to Dr. Huber's secrecy. It is tough to be confident in a company with so many secrets. . . especially with regard to new orders and new clients. We managed to do exactly that with Lightpath from about these same levels with incredible success. But that was a stock that had been considerably lower. . . and unknown. Corvis has high investor awareness. . . and high short-interest.

I keep thinking about that Rambus short-squeeze. Remember that? Could Corvis be the next best candidate to perform that type of magic, should the company fuel the momentum by releasing news? Does Huber really have the silver bullet that will bring about all-optical routing? Or is it all just smoke and mirrors, empty promises and high market-caps while the company stalls for more R&D time?

But if we knew the answer to these questions with reasonable certainty, there would be no risk. And if we are to make big scores with companies like these, we must be willing to take the risk. I would certainly prefer owning CORV down here under $8 bucks a share, while awaiting news. . . . than be suddenly chasing it in the 20's as news is released.

Just as there are concerted efforts to take stocks lower, there are concerted efforts to take them higher. If Wall Street is planning to bring Corvis [or any stock] out, you best believe that they are coordinating any coming news with upgrades, features in major periodicals or TV media, financial conferences and/or industry conventions/shows and other hype. We'll call that type of Wall Street Manipulation to move prices higher by attracting new investors at increasingly higher levels "Coordinated Momentum".

Our Next Featured stock is. . . MCDT. . . .

Let me hear your thoughts on this one. Can they maintain this extraordinary level of high growth? Or are they just cooking the books? And where do they go from here at $23? Down from $140 just last September. . . but looking as though it may be making a turn north here. What are YOUR feelings on MCDT?

Thanks and best wishes in trading today. . .
