| You got it...different rules for different posters...SI posters who have a high draw (A@P, Jenna, etc) have much more leniency than the general population...in the real world, you might say that these folks are "above the law"...witness both Jenna and A@P's blatant mention of their pay-for-service websites in their headers (against SI's TOU, but alas, neither Bob nor Jeff have ever suspended and deleted the entry)...also, as your note suggests, the A@P post includes a threat, harrassment and a tinge of vulgarity, and if you or I were to post such trash, we get hammered...in his case, it may increase his following and don't expect SI to take any action here...it is abundantly clear to me what double standards exist here on SI. |
