Glenn, that post of mine was tacky. I apologize to you for it.
Yes, you are correct about Amzn ruined at lot of people, but my point was it made a lot of money for investors too.
Remember, in my case I made most of my profits on the short side in 99.
Amzn made 2 or 3 runs from 200 to 100 that year. I'm assuming there were lots of longs who caught the up-runs too.
Amzn was nothing other than a trading machine. Other than maybe the likes of Randy E there never was a long term investor in it.
Yes, even Bill. I doubt he has more than 100 shares left, but that's his business not mine.
Btw
There's close to 45million shares still short Amzn...what does that tell? I'm mean, I wouldn't consider that a sign of confidence.
