Greg re: JNPR.....I used to think (going back to October last year)...that storage would be immune to any slowdown...that storage would be the last area to get hit by any economic slowdown......certain, even if storage got nixed a bit, switch makers (fastest growing segment) would be mostly immune......wrong...

So, how does JNPR then get thru this unscathed? Especially when Cisco is getting hurt, has a ton of inventory to dump, a competitive offering to JNPR (maybe not as good as JNPR's latest, but compelling no doubt...they still make most the sales), and, if Csco ever lowers margins to compete against JNPR (and they may have to with such an inventory overhang)...that's gotta effect JNPR's growth, no?

To my knowledge, JNPR has yet to acknowledge any earnings revisions..

Not to mention slowdown in decision-making by JNPR's customers.....maybe they'll want JNPRs stuff...but given what we've seen in other areas, it is logical to assume some delay in orders..

Woa....Dow just bounced hard off of 10,7...will it go back for more?
