charlie, you are wrong about Princeton eCom.

Princeton has nothing to do with Mellon's online banking business. I checked with Princeton.

Did CheckFree used to have Mellon's online banking business and then lost it a year ago? Why are you assuming Princeton has the business, and why are you assuming CheckFree is getting the business?

As far as I know, Mellon's Bank-by-Web business is home grown. And that actually makes a lot more sense. You said over on the NCEH board, "No provider with one-hundredth the exceptions/claims that I and many other Mellon customers have suffered over the past 6 months could stay in business."

I agree. It is more likely a service developed by Mellon for Mellon. Any commercial provider, be it CKFR or Princeton eCom would have never let it get as far as you described.

Here is what Princeton does with Mellon.

mellon.com

"Mellon Global Cash Management (GCM) is offering its business customers Princeton eCom's electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) service-ePaybill that delivers bills to consumers at both billers' Web sites and at other Web sites where consumers pay their bills."

I also checked personally with Princeton about this. No way are they involved with Mellon's online Bank-by-Web service.

What makes you leap to these conclusions about who has the business and who is getting the business?
