GDP grew at 8%+ last spring.....with asset values going to the moon.....I have a hard time faulting the Chairman for thinking that inflation was a real threat then.... yes, I do think he was slow to respond...but his hands are somewhat tied now...how low can he cut without effecting dollar? We had a bubble, it had to end at some point.... maybe the ursting could have happened slower, but likely the same folks would have been hurt just as bad, IMO
