Phil,
I spoke with Barb H. Monday and Tom S. yesterday. Not much more to add. They laid off all their geologists except for Tom and one other in Reno and one in Argentina. They also laid off some office staff in Canada and are moving their offices to a smaller space (upstairs). They have done a lot of soul searching looking at all the options. The conclusion is that they will continue to focus on using local "consultants" (local miners and folks like Lowell) to find "grass roots" gold projects. Since the gold market is in such doldrums, it is not really the time for getting a project to the stage of offering it to a major anyway. They are hunkering down, looking for good projects and planning for the long haul.

Barrick will give them Diablillos back in June. No plans for drilling. As you know, there are other prospects on this property other than the Oculto.

Definately not to exciting. We won't see $5 any time soon.

Ross
