Assuming these aliens are intelligent, rational and not actually hostile, all I can think of would be to say
"I'm aware of what you are doing. I can't prevent it because I recognise that you have the power/skills to mince humanity. However, as we are sufficiently intelligent enough to recognise this, and to know that 'Resistance is futile', we ask that you don't... can we offer you any other food?"
BTW, I'm not convinced that belief in a god would suffice, either. Of course, if said god smote the aliens from the sky, belief would be rather a moot point <g>
Incidentally, what if the aliens also believed, absolutely, in a god or gods - but not the same one(s) as anyone here...?
