How would we give her death meaning?

Obviously, if (as you said) no-one remembers her, then her life will not have meaning to anyone. When she was alive, her life held meaning for her--and for others. Her life means nothing to her once she is dead.

As Aurelius makes it plain, almost every human being who ever lived are unremembered. Some family members and some historical figures are remembered--but even these will be entirely forgotten in time. Aristotle, Socrates, Hitler, Jesus--all will be forgotten. They will have no meaning. Only the living can experience meaning--and they can only experience it about what they know or contemplate.
