My questions is as follow:
was JDSU less candid with us than with their own analysts and gave information to them before we knew anything about it so BIG MONEY could dump the stocks in 60-70 range ?.


They would have had to be complete idiots to do this and risk the wrath of the SEC as this would violate Reg FD. I think the simpler and more believable explanation is that they were thrown for a loop along with investors. I don't think JDSU was getting the best feedback from their customers, as the NT warning caught them off guard.
