What I mean is what you thought was the new improved position was really my old position. In fact I think you may still be underestimating my concern for the environment. The fact that people are a priority to me over animals and plants doesn't mean I care nothing about the animals and plants. Also I want to avoid environmental disaster for the sake of the humans. If my opinions of the facts on population growth and environmental dangers where the same as yours then my position might actually not be too far away from yours, it would just be arrived at from a different direction and for a different reason. I am however apparently less pessamistic on most environmental issues then you.
