I too have posted about shorts manipulating IOM, but let's take another look. In MF's Iomega In Fooldom today, Clay Hagan says " I believe the big players covered their shorts over the last three days." See:
fool.com

Now whether of not it's true, and I find it hard to believe you can cover 18M shares in 3 days without going to 30, why can't we just accept IOM is going up like any other stock. TA people talk about increasing levels of support and resistance. This is exactly what we see. You don't need manipulation to explain what is happening to IOM. It is in a nice orderly upswing, with periodic pullbacks to greater levels of support. I am not afraid of manipulators any more. We've really covered them as much as we can, and done as much as we can about them. Now the fundamentals will eclipse them completely. They are a spent force. That is why I increased my position yesterday. Let's leave the talk of manipulation to amateur manipulators like Rocky.
