In my opinion that's just it - "still forecasting profitable earnings". I don't think there's a chance in hell that will happen in the next few quarters, and when (if??) that becomes known then the real damage to the stock price will occur.

I dub this phenomenon the Fallacy of the Second Half Rebound, and that is why I'm in agreement with Hays and others that the third quarter will be the time of reckoning for tech. I'm still waiting for the tech rally before the big bust, but so far this one has fizzled - probably thanks to BRCM & JDSU plus the reality comments from INTC.

But then again maybe I'm wrong and will miss out on the next MSFT or CSCO...... What are the odds?

P.S. The likes of MSDW have been sniffing around Hydralift of late. Now what could they being doing? Perhaps DD for and acquisition? Buying or selling - anybody know (Big Dog where are you)?
