Sorry John, as I went back further into the posts, I saw where you mentioned you didn't know who White Pines was and I knew then you didn't work for VideoServer. By the way, any reference to White Pines is Internet-related (as in Internet videoconferences).

You might be interested in looking at www.telespan.com for Elliot Gold's report on the recent DVC West show, one of the best trade shows for videoconferencing. In his report he states that H.320 video (VideoServer's specialty) is NOT dead to H.323 as the press would have you believe and in the forum where customers talk, their major topic was multipoint video conferences.

There is some new competition to VideoServer, but most are so new that their threat is months away. My bet is on VideoServer for the immediate future.
