Sun launching midlevel server Sun Microsystems (Nasdaq: SUNW) will launch its midlevel server based on the UltraSPARC III microchip on Mar. 21, the company said on Wednesday in an invitation to the widely anticipated launch. Sun is inviting press and analysts to the New York launch of the server, part of a line based on the new chip, which has been rumored to be plagued by delays, despite repeated denials by Sun. --Reuters zdnet.com
